Just an update to follow the previous post related to finding a place to live in San Diego. We have opted to go with the very nice apartments in the same neighborhood. The lease/rent option on the condo when it came down to it was not going to work for us; she wanted just a six month lease and the owner added fees which in the beginning she stated would be part of the monthly rent. Long story short, I didn't want any more surprises and I didn't really want the possibility of having to move again in six months. So we opted for the more stable option of an apartment with the same thought that we will hopefully purchase something we want at the end of the year lease. The apartment is nice with two bedrooms and a loft about 1250 sq ft. It also has a garage and backs up against the canyon with nice views.

Well I am sure that the green car will get a nice comfy spot in our one car garage while my car will have to hunt for a parking spot.
