Plants generally don't last more than a couple weeks when under my care. But I think my recent attempts at growing something green have turned out pretty good. Maybe it's because they like the nice San Diego climate or maybe it's just because they are low maintenance plants. This is the second time that I have grown a plumeria from a stick. Both times they have actually turned out great. My first one did really well, then froze during the winter. This one I planted the end of March and it's starting to blossom.
The other plant, a flax, I got from the Farmer's Market in San Luis Obispo on one of me ventures there. So far it has grown and looks pretty hardy. No brown yet.
On the other hand my Fuchsia plant looks pretty sad and needs some Divine Intervention and probably a little water!

I think you are doing a very nice job with your plants!
I hear ya, sister! I suck at gardening. Thankfully most of my plants are giving me a chance this year! I was greatly encouraged when I heard my sister, the queen of gardens, told me she loses plants all the time. She just plants more. =) Congrats on the live plants!!
I love plumerias! I love pretty things that smell good LOL. :)
