Well, Hello There!

I have had quite the hiatus from blogging.
The past year has flown by and I can't believe that 2011 is just a couple of weeks away.
This past year has been full of many blessings and the largest of them is our little son, Jonas. I never could have imagined the joy that a little person could bring. Jonas is such a bundle of joy; he always brings a smile to your face. It is so fascinating to watch the wonder in each of their expressions as they explore their world, learn new words and take their first steps. The best joy is watching how much Ryan loves the little guy. They have become best buds as they play all day long every day while I am at work. They love to chase each other around the house, play hide and seek and babble at one another...it really is the cutest thing.
This year we also bought a house...it was a little bit of a stretch, but it is so nice to be able to set up "our own home". Three years ago, I never thought that we would be buying a house in San Diego, but we love it here and I couldn't imagine it any other way.
We are so blessed to have both of our jobs that we love. I have been able to flex my schedule to 4 10 hour shifts which gives me one more day off to spend with my family.
I am looking forward to another great year in 2011.
